Explore Palm Coast Florida

by Stephanie Shulas

Palm Coast, Florida is a beautiful city that offers a variety of neighborhoods and homes to suit different preferences and budgets. In this article, we will take a virtual tour of Palm Coast and explore three different neighborhoods, each with its own unique charm and character. Whether you're looking for a waterfront property, a fixer-upper, or a typical Palm Coast home, we've got you covered. So let's dive in and discover what Palm Coast has to offer!

Exploring Palm Coast

To start our tour, let's head to the marina in Palm Coast. The marina is a picturesque spot with canals leading directly to the Intercoastal Waterway. It's a perfect place to enjoy the waterfront lifestyle that Palm Coast has to offer.

Our first stop on the tour is a home located in the C-section of Palm Coast. This stunning property sits on a saltwater canal and offers five bedrooms, three baths, and over 3,100 square feet of living space. With an asking price of $945,000, this home is a true gem. It features a boat dock and lift, a pool, and 70 feet of canal frontage. As we take a look at the home, you can also get a feel for the streets and the neighborhood. Keep in mind that Palm Coast is a rapidly developing area, so if you see an empty lot next to a house, it may not be there for long. This neighborhood is known for its saltwater canals and many homes have pools, especially at this price point. While there aren't many sidewalks or underground utilities in Palm Coast, if that is something you're interested in, let me know and I can provide you with a list of neighborhoods that offer those amenities.

Moving on to the B-section of Palm Coast, we have a home with an asking price of $255,000. This two-bedroom, two-bath property is just over 1,800 square feet and is in need of some TLC. As we walk through the neighborhood, you'll notice that Palm Coast doesn't have your typical grid layout. Instead, there is usually one main street with smaller streets and cul-de-sacs branching off. This particular section also lacks sidewalks and has above-ground utilities. However, it gives you a good idea of what you can expect to find in the B-section and what you can get for under $300,000 in Palm Coast.

Our final stop takes us to the P-section of Palm Coast, where we find a typical Palm Coast home. This four-bedroom, two-bath property offers just under 2,500 square feet of living space and has an asking price of $425,000. As we explore the neighborhood, you'll notice the quiet streets and well-maintained homes. The lack of cars parked on the road is due to Palm Coast ordinances. The P-section is a great representation of what you can expect from a Palm Coast home. The neighborhood is peaceful, with established trees and plenty of greenery.

Now that we've explored three different neighborhoods in Palm Coast, it's time to reveal my best-kept secret of Palm Coast living. It's Washington Oak Garden State Park, located on A1A in the hammock. This park is absolutely stunning, with live Washington oak trees that hang down, walking trails throughout, a beautiful Rose Garden, and even designated beach access. It's a hidden gem that offers so much to do and explore. Many families, including mine, choose this park for their annual family photos. It truly is one of Palm Coast's best-kept secrets.
